February 23, 2021 Tiger Woods was running late to an engagement when he was involved in a crash. Woods suffered serious leg injuries and now recovering well. Tiger Woods was extracted from his vehicle when emergency officers arrived at the scene. He was rushed to Harbor – UCLA Medical Center and underwent emergency surgery. He was in the hospital for about 2 weeks.
The cause of the crash was said due to unsafe driving speed, there was no evidence of impairment from drinking or smoking. The LAPD did not cite or charge Woods with any citations or fees. From initial report, police found an empty unlabeled pill bottle in his bag and he was disoriented.
The department investigating the crash said the accident was pure accidental but this raise questions with others. Why does it seem like a cover-up? But this shows that the justice system is unequal.
I think because Tiger Woods is a renown Golf player and have high social class status, he is able to have his crime/action overlooked and/or less high risk. Woods’ reputation has been built and he is honored in the sports world. Tiger has won 15 major golf champions.
There are many blogs and with different topics. We take a look at ‘One Man & His Blog by Adam Tinworth.
Tinworth has a personal blog that is updated frequently by him. The blog consists of his personal thoughts about his other job of consultancy work.
One accomplishment that Tinworth has done that has inspired me is his career. He offers independent business-tailored advice and consulting for businesses. In other words, Tinworth stay updated with the latest technological trends and developments, track the successful strategies used and help businesses to develop the tactics to their own. I think this is a useful and innovative idea that many businesses can use and benefit for growth.
In his work, Adam focuses on audience engagement and content strategy. He analyze the engagement on social media/networks by users and choose the best tactics. He advise to implement changes as technology advance.
I did not see any mistakes on his blog.
The only advice/improvement for his blog would be more real pictures. I would like to see more about his work and see real life pictures. Pictures will create and build rapport and credibility. Additionally, pictures help during these distant area where we can and only be together virtually. So real pictures would help interested clients with persuasion if there are real life examples. These examples would allow prospective members to be able to feel more comfortable in their response to your blog.
I like his blog and think it was easy to access. His blog was updated frequently and I was able to keep up with his blog weekly. An updated blog will bring more attention. This blog also gave credibility because he is an experienced journalist that gives credible sources.
This data is from Georgia State University during the years of 2010-2013. This data shows the 6-year graduation rate from GSU based on race (Black, White, & Hispanic).
Georgia State University is a 4-year public research university in Atlanta, GA founded in 1913. There are some students who graduate from the university within 6 years. The data here is the graduation rate of the students at Georgia State University amongst those who graduated in 6 years instead of 4 years.
The data includes the average rate of 6-year student graduation in the U.S. followed by the average rate based on race. Overall, the 6-year graduation rate amongst Blacks were 53.5%, 48% amongst Whites, and 53.25 amongst Hispanic. The average result showing Blacks lead in 6-year graduation, followed by Hispanics, and lastly Whites.
The data shows that graduation rate among the minority groups (Blacks and Latinos) were the highest and increased over the years.
Key Findings:
-The rate among Blacks continued to increase each year
-In 2010, the rate decreased amongst Whites and Hispanics
-In 2013, that was the only year the Whites graduation rate was 50% or higher
